Karma and Destiny in Vedic Culture

The roots of Vedic culture are found in the Indus Valley, present day India, as far back as 3000 BCE. Vedic culture gave us: Yoga, the science of mind, body and spirit; Ayurveda, the science of natural and herbal medicine; and Jyotish, the science of planetary transits which forms the basis of Vedic Astrology.
Vedic scholars observed and documented planetary movements and their impact on humans for centuries. This knowledge allowed them to accurately forecast both the “Golden Period” and the “Pain Cycles” of people’s life journey. As with Yoga and Ayurveda, this knowledge has been passed on from teacher to student even unto today. Your birthdate, time and place combined with the exact position of the 12 “planets”, holds the key to the blueprint of the contract you entered into with the universe at your birth. “As you sow, so shall you reap.” If not in one life, then in the next.” “What goes around, comes around.” Your present circumstances are a direct result of your past karma, while your present karma will decide your future destiny.
Every soul in the universe has had many journeys. Our bodies are the vehicles our souls use to move us forward in our journey. Ayurveda teaches that our bodies or “vehicles” are made of five elements: Fire, Earth, Air, Water and Space. As we go about our life we commit karma or deeds. The fruits of every single karma you commit will always find its way back to you in a timely manner. Thus, your present life and situation is a direct result of your past karma. Possessing this knowledge will allow you to write a better destiny for your journey going forward. So that you can take time to consult your soul/consciousness and choose to do the right thing.
Spiritual consciousness and awakening has been on the rise since the Winter Solstice of 2012, when our solar system began its journey into a Golden Age period. As a result, our understanding of the direct relationship between our karma (deeds) on our destiny, is beginning to make sense to more and more people.
