Blue Lotus Flower

Nymphaea Caerulea is known by its common name Blue Lotus though it has a handful of other colloquial names such as Blue Water Lily, Sacred Blue Lily, Dream Flower or Blue Egyptian Lotus. Its origins are believed to come from Egypt and Northern Africa along the banks of the river Nile. Through historical data and from ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs we know this flower has been used as a tea or wine tincture since time immemorial.
Called the Dream Flower by some, it is a Oneirogen meaning it produces or enhances dream like states of consciousness so one tends to sleep well with vivid dreams that allow your brain to burn off stress leaving you refreshed and mentally sharp the next morning.
